Cokethorpe School is proud to be the host of the inaugural Witney Music Festival. Building on the successes of previous Jazz Festivals and Garden Operas, Cokethorpe is bringing these different music genres together, and adding some rock, to present an exciting three-day line-up of music.

Set in the School's glorious 150 acres of Oxfordshire parkland, the festival will feature the cream of local musicians together with international celebrities. There will be a hog roast and barbecue available as well as a beer and champagne tent and other refreshments.

Rock. Friday 12 September (6.30pm to 10.00pm): Toby Pugh, MASLU, The Pantonz and Growler.

Jazz. Saturday 13 September (11.30am to 8.00pm). MASLU, Guitar Summit, Martin Pickett Quartet (featuring Robin Ashe-Roy), Alvin Roy and Bob Wilber.

Classical. Sunday 14 September (10am to 8.30pm). Keith Fairbairn, Jessica Rychewaert, Cokethorpe First Orchestra, Ray Burley, Chris Britton, Rey Lear, Jonathan Hill, Malcolm Pearce, the Walton String Quartet, Peter Foster and Friends and The Garden Opera Company performing Don Pasquale.

Day Ticket: £10, Weekend Ticket: £15 (Accompanied children under 16 half price). Box Office: 01993 892338,
