Review of Chipping Norton by marion ibson on June 11th, 2009
I have lived in chipping norton for some years,
having moved up from Devon and Cornwall where i also lived for many years.i am a retired nurse and when i arrived in Chippy i disliked the place.
But stayed for my husband had joined the Thames Valley police, and i had a young daughter and her schooling was important.I must say chippy has improved a great deal,re- shops there are plenty of out of school activaties for the young ones to do.We have very good g.p prectices in Chippy, which i think is important.Yes i do think Chippy has grown on me.Cotswolds is a nice place to live

I was at school near Chipping Norton (1936-1945)it is a town for which I hold all good and happy memories, since 1987 I have visited Chippy regularly and it is still a joy to visit, it is one of two market towns which over the years I have become very fond, the other town is Wellington in Shropshire, now a part of Telford,
Wellington is much changed but Chippy still appears much as it ever did, though I have noticed changes there................Geoffrey Ball.

We stayed at the Falkland Arms Inn a few years ago and it was one of the most marvellous experiences ever. The food was surprising in its sophistication, the rooms cozy and quaint, the area quiet and relaxing. Our few days at this in were truly memorable.
