My brothers wedding reception was held at Coniston Hall Hotel.I stayed 2 nights in a standard single and as well as the wedding it self also had dinner there the night before the wedding. This place is brilliant! Even my standard room was lovely (although the rooms with balconies are awesome and worth the extra money for the view) The food is Amazing. It's delicious and of very high quality even the breakfasts were full of choice and of a very high standard. The staff are the friendliest and most helpful people you could wish to meet and went out of their was to make sure we all were happy and had everything we needed. Then on top of that drop the whole place in the middle of the most beautiful scenery Yorkshire has to offer (and believe me that's saying something) and you have the perfect venue for a wedding, a party or even just a chilled out long weekend (something I know many of the wedding guests are planning for the future). I can not recommend this place highly enough and can't wait to go back.

Coniston Hall Lodge is the best hotel we have visited. The staff are very friendly, even the cleaners had a bright smile and a cheery good morning for us as we passed them. The food was delicious and hot. The room was large airy and comfortable, nothing was too much trouble. Absolutely fantastic we will be returning.
