1/10,is what I thought of our meal, we had a Ham sandwich, beef sandwich, bowl of chips and a pot of tea for two.The bread (door stopper) was stale, could only just stretch my mouth to accomodate it, the so called "butter" spread did not come from a cow,the one mark goes to the Ham, it was O.K. the accompanying Rocket, lettuce, was kind of slimy, the chips first time round were practically raw, on their return they were tough and inedible, my guess, popped into the micro for too long, the milk was o.k. for the tea, but the lid did not fit(Close)the pot therefore the second cup was not hot.The staff were very obliging and sorry, but the chef sent his replies via the waiter.

I don't recommend this as a place to eat, when Speaking to the manager about our unsatisfactory meals we were told 'well what do you want me to do about it?' by the rudest woman I have ever encountered. No apology no suggestions as to how to resolve it she was absolutely horrid. Portions of food were tiny and the prices extortionate for the poor quality of the food. Customer service is non existent n this establishment and I won't be visiting again.

We visited the Mulberry at about 5pm on a Saturday. There were three of us who were absolutely famished and really wanting some good grub. We thought it was a perfect spot with a beautiful view of the boats and the harbour. We ordered two Chicken and Chorizo pasta dishes and 1 Beef burger approximately £28 (from the bar menu) which was not a small sum for 3 dishes. However I believe that you if you pay a little more you get a little more. When our meals arrived the pasta dishes looked very poor and literally thrown in the dish. The chicken was pre cooked and sliced with some unrecognisable over cooked and slimy vegetables & the sauce was thin and obviously came out of a jar. Having asked for Parmesan we were told there was none in the kitchen and therefore they didn’t serve it....? So I didn’t ask for black pepper either!! My other Guests meal of the Burger Arrived looking like it was made out coal it was so burnt. However my two guests were far too hungry to complain and risk the wait for other meals. So as a one time caterer I plucked up the courage to complain. The lady who was serving us (who I think was the manager) stomped past at a rate of knots and gave a fleeting "everything alright" already walking away whilst saying it. "No" I exclaimed and was met with the fiercest look a woman as ever given me. She stomped up to our table lunged over at me with a frown, fists on hips and an incredible hard look on her face and asked me what was wrong with it. Feeling like Oliver Twist I politely explained that the dish look cheap and simply not of the quality or level of food I expected. At this time I could see my guest with the burger covering up his meal from fear of the reproach he might receive if he looked as though he was about to complain. The manager replied that all the food was cooked fresh from the kitchen! I retorted that I didn’t care if it was fresh it was cheap and used cheap ingredients and was thrown on a plate and I was not going accept it, pushing the dish away. She then asked if the other guests were happy with their meals and quite surprisingly there were completely happy. Bunny Rabbits in headlights came to mind…!! The manager stomped away and into the kitchen. I was not offered one single apology nor was I asked if I would like to choose another meal from the menu. Ten minutes later the “stomp” came over to the table and slung my reimbursed money down on the table with a simple “there’s your money for your meal”. Again, no apology was forthcoming and no attempt to heal the tense situation created by their unprofessional approach to food and customers. I cannot warn other customers to think twice before going for a meal at this establishment more passionately. It seems that paying a little more means receiving more hassle than quality of food and service.

The Mulberry is on Conwy Marina and is a pub/restaurant serving very good food. Normally only have a snack downstairs at lunchtime which has always been good (excellent homemade soup) but this time went to the restaurant upstairs and had a superb meal. Great location overlooking the marina. Also very good Sunday carvery 12-4 for £8.95 but you do have to queue as it's very popular - I'd advise to go at 12 or just before 4.

We rang a week before to book a table for our anniversary by a window with a view over the marina. We arrived a little late and were shown to our table by the window which had a card wishing us a happy anniversary! We were given ample time to read the menu and make our choice. The food was hot and very tasty indeed, we had a lovely evening, staff were very curtious and helpful and the atmosphere was very pleasant with some live music later on. I would recommend The Mulberry with excellent food and friendly staff. Lovely place for a drink outside in the summer with all the boats coming and going!

I booked a table requesting a window seat 6 weeks in advance and upon arrival for the early sitting at 6.00 to an empty restaurant I was told by the manager who kept waiving her book at me that all the window seats were already assigned. I asked what do you have to do to get a window seat - the manager said "you request it when making the booking" - "that is exactly what I did I told the manager" to which she repeated the tables were already assigned and she could do nothing about it. The starter arrived and one of my party asked for Virgin oil for her salad, she was told there was none in the kitchen. Second course was pasta, when we asked for Parmesan cheese, there was none. For desert we were told there was no hot deserts available. All in all it was the first time I visited this restaurant and it will be the last. I urge anyone who thinks about going to this restaurant to go somewhere else. The management do not deserve to do well as they do not know how to treat customers when they have them.

Great pub/restaurant overlooking Conwy Marina with very good bands on Friday and Saturdays and occasionally during the week, Dare were especially popular. Only had a snack there but it's lovely to sit with a bottle of wine at the boats on the marina as the sun sets. I have always found the staff courteous and I have been here many times.

Very annoyed with the rudeness of the serving staff. Had bought four drinks but could not carry them all to the other side of the bar so asked politely if the bar man would put the last drink at the far end of the bar (so that I did not have to negotiate the packed bar area again & so nobody took the drink). The reply to this from another bar server was "Do it yourself. We are far to busy serving. What elso do you want us to do...... drink your drink for you"!!!!! How professional. Soured the evenings experience .... would not go back to this most unfriendly place!
