Spent two nights at this lovely hotel and couldn't have enjoyed it more. When we arrived we found that our rooms were larger than the ones we booked, with fantastic bathrooms. Everything was spotless and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever had in a hotel. The meal in the restaurant (included in our 'special' price) was excellent, although the menu would have benefited from some variety for non meat eaters. When we mentioned this we were told it that alternatives could be prepared if we wished, which was fine. Very good value, with exceptional attentive service. We hope to return soon.

What an absolute gem!!This hotel is owned & managed by people who take pride in what they do- it's very obvious that they have a deep love for this building. Elegant, spacious- the decor is a reflection of the hotels history (Agatha Christie being a regular guest here.)& done with an excellent eye to detail.Nothing jars the senses- everything "belongs". The whole place is absolutely spotless, even though it is a "dog-friendly" hotel. Not one hair, not one speck of dust. The food is an absolute pleasure- produce sourced from a 10 mile radius, which includes Cromer crab & Sheringham lobster. Sublime!! Excellent value for money.
