Took our staff here for our Xmas night out it was great good pub grub served by nice girl we had a wonderful time give it a go !!!!

its been a few months since we have been in the salmon we called in on sunday gone for a spot of lunch and ended up stopping best part of the day new couple very nice food good will be back very soon. ps not a bad pint to real ale good

I visit the pub on a regular basis and on my last visit I ordered food for the first time. There's lots to choose from and I went for a curry. Staff are very helpful and welcoming and the food was fantastic.
The pub overall is a nice, clean place to visit. I would recommend a visit to this pub if you're in the area.

Although we have visited the Salmon many times in the past, this is the first time we have eaten here. The hosts could not have been more helpful, and explained the dishes on the menu to us in detail, but after smelling the curries that had been served to other diners, we each went for a curry. I had a chicken tikka masala, and my wife had a sweet potato, chick pea and spinach curry. Both dishes were served with Kashmiri rice and a naan bread, but unlike curries that you may get at other pubs, this was obviously made from scratch, the flavours were an absolute treat! The next time we are in the area and need a great quality meal we'll go back to the Salmon

WELL JUST INCASE YOU ARE LOOKING TO COME TO BELFORD I THAWT THAT I WOULD GIVE YOU SOME INFORMATION ON THE SALMON AS I AM THE LISCENCEE AT PRESENT. WE HAVE BEEN IN THE PUB FOR JUST OVER A YEAR AND RECENTLY HAD THE PUB REFURBISHED (0PENED 27/4/07) IN THE AIM TO INTRODUCE FOOD AND TO CATER FOR THE SMOKING BAN. THE PUB IS SITUATED ON BELFORD HIGH STREET AND ALL ARE WELCOME. WE AIM TO HAVE BAND NIGHTS ON REGULAR INTERVALS AND THE FIRST ONE STARTS AUGUST 3RD 2007 AND THE 1ST SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH AFTER THAT. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUERIES OR JUST WANT TO CHECK IF THERE IS A BAND ON CALL THE PUB ON 01668 213245 AND WE WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP.
THE FOOD THAT WE DO IS BAR MEALS AND WERE DOING PENSIONERS SPECIALS ON A MONDAY AFTERNOON 12 - 2 AND IS FIVE POUND FOR 2 COURSES WHICH VARY WEEK TO WEEK. AGAIN IF YOU WISH TO CHECK WHAT IS ON OR HAVE ANY QUESTIONS JUST CALL US AND WE WILL BE HAPPY TO HELP YOU. OBVIOUSLY THINGS CHANGE FROM TIME TO TIME WITH PRIVATE PARTIES ETC SO JUST CALL AND THEN NO ONE WILL BE DISSAPOINTED.
TRYING TO GIVE TIME SCALES FOR WHEN MEALS ARE ON IS DIFFICULT TO SET IN BLACK AND WHITE BECAUSE IT IS A SEASONAL PUB BUT AT PRESENT WE DO MEALS MON - SAT 12-2 AND 530-830 AND SUNDAY LUNCH 12-3. ALL HOME COOKED OF COURSE INCLUDING THE CHIPS WHICH ARE DELICIOUS!!!!!
