The Crown Hotel in Portpatrick offers probably the finest dining in the small Galloway village. Unfortunately the calibre of the waiting staff doesn't match the sophistication of the menu. Despite bringing a dining group of over 20 to the hotel two nights in a row we found the staff to be ignorant, rude & in a hurry to get our group to depart. I won't be back.
