I was in Widnes for a leadership conference and found the hotel on a Google search of the area.
I found jeff very helpful - getting my shower going was a trial only he could help me with.
Good value for money - spacious rooms - poor view, but then you can't have everything if you are travelling on a budget.
Heartily recommend it - breakfast inclusive was as much as you needed and adequate for any business traveller.

Good Points: The room was spacious and had everything that was needed to make a weekend break enjoyable along with very friendly and helpful staff.
Bad Points: Only a little niggle rather than dislike was that the room, which was on the ground floor facing the road, did not have sufficient privacy i.e no nets at the window. I sometimes felt that people could see into the room even though set back a distance.
General review: Suggestions on where to eat although staff were helpful in that direction. Anything information I personally wanted or needed to know was on the website when booking.
