I saw some reviews then went into red chamber for a meal. It is not that bad as your review said. I have studied the price first before going in . It is hard to say that the food is or is not expensive. Because i order what i can afford. To sum up it is a must for visiting . Especially in Redditch, it is short of quality restaurant . The Red Chamber is offering quality places for quality people .

Very nice food and pleasent surroundings but small portions, overpriced and the staff are not particularly friendly. Love Chinese food but have had far better value in places which are just as nice.

My partner and I visited the Red Chamber in Redditch and were dissapointed with the cost, The staff where abrupt and had to be asked many times for drinks etc. My partner drink arrived in a dirty lipstick glass. After leaving I vowed not to return only for a takeaway. The food was good but no better than other places I have eaten. Last week we got a takaway from there two two basic curries with fried rice was £26 and they didnt even give us any prawn crackers. So we wont be going back there at now. Much better is the singapore restaurant in headless cross, cozy, good food and friendly family run. Or Riely's indian restaurant is exception. The Red chamber is a no no for us now £26 for two curries? come on guys its a chinese takaway in Redditch... 2/10

Great food. Possibly the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Not cheap but worth it. Friendly staff, good service. Gets busy at weekends.

This must be one of the best Chinese restaurants, for food quality, service and very high standards.
Henry don't change anything

Lovely meal, good service, nice atmosphere.
Opted for the Szechwan set meal at £15, faultless and such good value
