Went with a very good business contact and friend. Asked for 2 breakfasts, the place looked dead (not a good sign), after asking the waitress about the situation to our astonishment she quickly told us that we couldn't get served??? Don't put yourself through the stress and go to one of the other local eating establishments! I recommend the Fairway or the Balbairdie!

Went for Sunday lunch with family. Seemed to have major staff shortage with one female with strong East European accent doing all the taking of orders and clearing of tables. The pate starter on the menu was not available which was quite poor considering the restaurant had been open less than an hour when we arrived. The Prawn Cocktail and Mushroom soup starters were fine but took over 30 minutes to arrive. The 'Traditional Sunday Roast' as advertised was a major disappointment. The roast beef was clearly two slices of processed meat accompanied by some frozen veg and two mini frozen Yorkshire puds. Also with the beef was a peppercorn sauce over the meat(no choice in having this sauce or not). This seemed to be instead of regular gravy. The roast chicken was stringy in texture and not all that appetising. Many of the tables around were uncleared and gave a shabby atmosphere to the place. The service was pleasant but poor and the whole experience was unenjoyable. Not reccomended.
