Hmmm... We visited this restaurant exactly a year agoto the date, but this time was very different from the last.Such a shame we werent aware that the last chef had moved on, the menu had changed from a classy mouthwatering selection to a boring cafe type menu with a choice of four starters , mains and desserts, all of which were not as described in the menu.. the parfait ,was very course pate..the tomato soup was watered down and the main courses were something a child could prepare with lumpy mashed potatoes, served with frozen vegetables ...it got worse when we were presented with shop bought desserts rather than home made ones as described... to make matters worse we had gone there to celebrate our engagement and birthday so there were six of us and we all felt that it was the worst £160.00 spent... We spent £100.00 on the two of us last year and thought it was worth every single penny, so if you are looking for a fantastic meal with chef's innivotive approach to mouth watering dishes, this is NOT the place to go.
