Hotel visually is very appealing and the Indian resturant is very good. The hotel owners unfortunately appear to be keeping maintainence to a minimum. The doorknob on the door to our room had several retention screws sticking out so far that you had to be careful that you did not cut your hand when turning the door knob. However, the worst problem was a hairdryer that had been damaged and not replaced. The fan guard on the hairdryer had been removed. The damage was not noticed when the dryer was used, and resulted in a badly cut finger. This could have caused a very serious injury had the dryer been used by a child. The owners expressed no concern other than to say sorry. We were not asked if any medical attention was required or for any details on the damaged hairdryer. We were not impressed with the owners, to say the least.

Good Points: When booking we not informed that the Hotel was undergoing renovation. Our room was tired and in need of decoration. The shower produced cold water only. Bad Points: We asked for Rooom and Full English breakfast. this was confirmed when booked. On arrival swe were informed that the kitchen was not working since work was being carried out in the Hotel. We had no option but to accept a 'continental' breakfast in our room which had no facilities or space for two people to eat!! General review: Most disappointing. Very unlikely to stay there again.
