We thought this hotel was Fab ! An unbeatable spot high above the beach makes you think you are actually in the Ocean at high tide and the Bar and adjoining terrace embellishes this slightly unnerving but rather wonderful illusion. The whole place just exudes relaxation (despite the proliferation of children) and would suit on one hand those here for the thrilling sports and on the other those looking to just curl up with a drink and a book. Our children were well catered for with under 7's looked after free - none of that £10 an hour nonsense here - and the common areas were both chic and warm at the same time. A couple of small bring-back-down-to-earth gripes would be that the room was very hot at times and that the restaurant, whilst serving decent enough food, was staffed by young people who could perhaps have known a little more about the fayre that they were serving. However the staff in general were highly efficient and the night porter deserves special mention for his friendliness. This is an establishment, as mentioned, that appears to offer something for all of the people all of the time and comes highly recommended. 9/10
