Had read the previous review and how far from the truth.
My husband and I arrived for dinner and were made very well come by both Catherine & David, both the bar and restaurant were lovely and clean along with our wine glasses.
The specials board was a real treat & ran alongside the restaurant menu. My husband had the highland kilt which was fillet steak layered with haggis, black pudding and blue cheese all encased in puff pastry and it was so lovely to be served fresh vegetables.
What a feast we had and we have booked again for two further nights to work through the specials board.

Its a nice pub in a lovely setting with nice staff but unfortunaitly the food was not fresh and the place was not very clean i had to send back two glasses of wine as the glasses were dirty! this was met with a cold and unfriendly response from the land lady who got rather rude and contunued to give me and my wife dirty looks all night witch spoilt the hole evening.
