Historic Alnwick, with its castle and splendid gardens, is 15 miles distant whilst Holy Island, the Cheviot Hills, and Kielder Forest and Water are all a short drive. Golf, riding and leisure centre 1 mile. Pub serving food 200 yards, shop/P.O. 50 yards.
