Lovely purpose built holiday cottage situated on the edge of Tolleshunt Major, 5 miles from Maldon. The cottage is in the countryside, set on its own land of an acre with wonderful views all around it, nobody to disturb you, in walking distance to the local pub for a meal, there are footpaths all around and it is easy to get to the sea wall at Goldhanger where you can go left or right which leads to Tollesbury or Heybridge Basin with its canal to Chelmsford. Walking towards Tollesbury on the Sea wall would eventually lead you to the Old Hall RSPB Bird Sanctuary that takes you all around the marshes well known for the huge amounts of birds that flock there; call into the Tollesbury Cruising Club on the way for a drink and a lovely lunch or meal.

There are masses of interesting towns and villages in the vicinity, Colchester (The oldest recorded Roman town), Coggeshall, Burnham-on-Sea and Bradwell are just a few. Heybridge Basin has boat trips on the canal and from Maldon Promenade the very popular Barge sailing trips.

Activities include Golf, fishing, sailing, cycling and walking. See our web-site for further information and photos. Phone for longer term rates.
