Balanced on the western edge of the picturesque Adur Valley, with a mix of coastal and Downland views. The stunning image of Lancing College with impressive spires has been a well known landmark since1850, the chapel is open to visitors on Sat and Sun. The art deco inspired Shoreham Airport used in the filming of ‘Tenko, Da Vinci code, and Poirot’ is a good place to visit and watch the planes land whilst drinking a coffee. The impressive St James-the-Less church was built by the Normans in the 12th Century , the parish church at Coombes in Lancing was built in the 12th Century and has beautiful murals. For those of you who enjoy walking why not visit Lancing Ring which is a local Nature Reserve, or The Coastal Link which is a lovely walk or place to picnic along the banks of the River Adur which links to The South Downs Way and Downs Link. Why not spend an enjoyable time visiting Coombes Farm where a tractor tour takes you within the 1,000 acre site to see animals a working dew pond, and cornfields. Lancing and the outstanding beauty of the area will definitely please the most discerning visitor
