Born 1942 – Football player.
Made debut for Manchester United against Blackburn Rovers in 1960. Member of European Cup winning side in 1968. Moved to Middlesbrough in 1971 and became player/coach at Preston North End in 1973. Became coach at Vancouver Whitecaps in Canada before returning to England as manager of West Bromwich Albion. Played 28 games for England between 1965 and 1970, was member of 1996 World Cup winning side. Awarded MBE in 2000.
