This basement restaurant has been around for a long time, and is always busy at lunch. Typical French bistro with an English old-school twist. So the food is pleasant and not over fussed, there is a good range of wines from around the world and cheese is generous and an excellent finish to the meal. The Steak tartar is my favourite, and one that you should try. The specials change regularly - so always something new. The small space makes for a buzzy atmosphere where the staff are attentive and seem to know their regulars. 7/10
