This is a superb hotel. A lovely small village, superb hosts, and, above all, exceptional cuisine. If you are looking for a special place to stay, that is everything you expect of a country inn, stay here. You will not be disappointed. There is wonderful history in the village, including the temporary home of the family of Lord Redesdale, father of the Mitford sisters, who lived in the village. Your stay at the Maytime will be exceptionally comfortable. The food and wines during your stay will surprise you and please you. Tori, the chef, is amazing, and her Mum and Dad are perfect hosts. We love the Maytime Inn. Put this place on your itinerary.
