This award winning Wildlife Park set amidst the picturesque Lakeland fells is home to a variety of animals ranging from the critically endangered to traditional favourites.

You’ll find many of the animals in spacious open enclosures, such as the charismatic cats, lively lemurs and enigmatic eagles. You will leave feeling truly inspired by these wonderful creatures.

Imagine coming face to face with a snake or rubbing shoulders with a rat! One of the daily animal encounters may be your chance to do just that.

Spectacular flying demonstrations offer the opportunity to experience the thrill of a vulture flying over your head, watch the falcon stoop at 100mph or learn how barn owls catch their prey.

For your own little monkeys there are play areas for children and picnic areas where you can take in the beautiful surroundings or why not visit the welcoming tearoom serving hot meals, snacks and drinks.
