A Multi award winning Grade II listed pub, Silver Nationally and Winner of Best Pub in Bedfordshire in the 2018 National Pub & Bar Awards and the SME Beds Business Awards and 4 years running Best Hospitality Venue in the local Dunstable Business & Community Awards. This 500 year old freehold with ample parking, is amidst Bedfordshire’s finest countryside. We pride ourselves on providing ‘Food and Gifts we Love’ and our team aim to provide a warm welcome with an attention to detail and your needs… Enjoy Home-made Pies, Sunday Roasts with all the trimmings, freshly beer battered Cod & triple cooked chips, to eat in or take-away and ‘99’ soft Ice creams! Also authentic pasta dishes, fresh fish & fine meats. Be enticed with the aroma of fresh dough pizzas, cooked in our stone clay oven. Looking for a take away? Then look no further. Prefer gluten free dishes or vegan? No problem, as all our dishes are freshly prepared our chef is happy to come out and ask you what you would like and cater for your needs. Local ales are sourced and wines are recommended and there’s gifts and goodies to buy. Home accessories, clocks, signs, candles, charming ‘Wrendale’ products, fudge, jams, chutney and more – perfect as a gift or simply to keep! …Not sure what to buy, then we have gift vouchers. These can be bought at The Bell or from our website. We even have our own picture book suitable for all ages: The Lockdown Bears available in house and on amazon….and a jigsaw too!

During the warmer days, enjoy alfresco dining or simply a refreshing pint or two overlooking amazing views from our back garden across the common, with a selection of rattan furniture and wooden benches, the secluded fun ‘doghouse’ area and a huge kids blackboard, there is something for everyone.

Have a four legged friend? Then they are very welcome in the Study Bar. We even have a ‘Bell & Hound Menu’ for some snacks after an enjoyable walk around many of the public walk paths that surround us and of course the beautiful Studham Common and complimentary doggy treats and by tap outside ‘Pawsecco’ water!
