The Coach Rose Program is not just about getting kids playing sports
but an initiative to enthuse youth and their communities. The Coach Rose Program aims to increase participation in physical activity
while widened its aims to focus on reducing anti-social behaviour, focusing
on, health promotion etc enabling young people to develop skills in relation
to education and future employment and making expert coaches, respected
mentors and educators available to all young people.
Now more than ever there needs to be a secure, safe environment where young people can feel confident and welcomed enough to broaden their horizons, skills and their mindsets - a place where our youth can strive for
excellence.
The programme model of good practice throughout the community in relation to successfully working with young people of all level and walks of life using the sport of basketball as the driver to develop their social and life skills.
