Holbeach is an ancient town set within the bulb growing region of the beautiful Fenlands in Lincolnshire, and was granted it’s Market Charter in 1252 and still holds it’s market twice weekly. The narrow streets lead to the picturesque 14th Century church of All Saints it’s spire and tower will do justice to any painting, or the dazzling beauty of the Butterfly and Wildlife Park close by will delight, the tropical setting where hundreds of butterflies hover or visit Reptile Land with it’s crocs and snakes or perhaps it’s creepie crawlie house…all set in 15 acres with amazing demonstrations from the Birds of Prey, add possums and ride on tractors.. it really is all here. For music lovers there is the Museum of Entertainment where it’s music music music all the way or perhaps the South Holland Centre where Arts and Entertainment come together with Theatre, Dance, Music and Screen. The tale of romance and mysticism is retold with the evocative story of the Gordon Boswell Romany Museum, where the traditional horse drawn caravans and carts are on display, why not opt for a day out in a horse drawn vardo and if your really curious visit the fortune telling tent.
