The enchanting town of Windsor is in Berkshire and borders Eton, the castle stands majestically on a hill overlooking the River Thames, and has been home to many monarchs over the last 900 years. For a quickening pace of heart why not visit Windsor Races, or how about Royal Ascot where the Queen attends, and ladies dress to impress on Ladies Day. Or there is Thorpe Park with scintillating rides such as Nemesis, Stealth and Colossus. Or perhaps Legoland where you can travel through an indoor Rainforest, visit an Enchanted Forest, or choose from fifty rides.
